Dogbone Vibration Damper

Description

These Dampers are designed to subdue vibrations occurring on earth wires in overhead lines.

Cables:  They are recommended for use on galvanized steel and aluminium clad steel cables up to 12 mm diameter.

Damping selection: To choose the suitable damper for a specific overhead line, please contact FTT. Dampers have specific performance characteristics that require strategic placement on the line to counter potential damage to the line system. The Vibration study supplied shows the type of damper (our reference), the number of units per span and the its right placement.
